Vicky Mueller, RMT, has 2700 hours of certification. She has over 28 years of experience as a Massage Therapist. She has training in numerous disciplines including; migraine treatment, acupuncture, osteoporosis therapy, sport physiotherapy, Reiki, laser therapy, spinal body-talk, Thai massage (level 2), Thai foot massage, raindrop technique and hot and cold stone massage.
Cindy Berkiw, RMT, a 2200 hour therapist registered with RMTA and covered by all insurance companies. Client/therapist communication is paramount to clients receiving the treatment they both want and need. Cindy enjoys meeting with her clients and using a variety massage techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations and muscle energy techniques. She feels a massage session should focus on increasing relaxation and feelings of well-being while decreasing pain, stress and anxiety to allow sessions to be as effective as possible. Providing much-needed relief to those in need is incredibly rewarding and she especially loves working with women in all stages of life. Cindy is also passionate about encouraging and empowering clients to take charge of their health with small but effective changes in their day to day life.
Young Kim, holds a 3000 hour RMT certification and specializes in the areas of Clinical and Relaxation massage. Young preforms Chinese “QiGong-TuiNa massage, Acu-pressure massage, Meridian massage, Deep Tissue massage, Sports massage, And Chinese foot reflexology as well both Swedish and Thai massage. Young is a Dr. of traditional Chinese medicine and has over 15+ years experience.
Alison Philpotts, B.Ed, RMT, graduated in 1993 from the Sutherland-Chan school in Toronto. She incorporates lymphatic drainage techniques in all her massage therapy treatments to enhance relaxation and well-being for all her clients. Alison has had the pleasure of working with Naturopathic doctors, chiropractors and midwives to bring the most efficient resolution for chronic pain and everyday related issues. Being a mother of two boys, Alison brings her own experience to the benefit of clients addressing muscular concerns, chronic pain, palliative care, breast health and prenatal care. Balancing her love of painting and therapy, Alison is thrilled to join Caragh and the Silver Springs Massage.
Pat MCDermid is a Registered Massage Therapist who studied at Mount Royal University. Her massage styles range from stress reduction and relaxation to therapeutic and deep-tissue massage. Pat has a wide range of experience working with people of all ages, with different fitness levels and conditions. Her mission is to support individuals to achieve a healthy life balance through personal wellness. Pat believes that massage can be the least intrusive approach to aid recovery for many injuries and illnesses, as well as preventing them from occurring. She has an ease in her approach that can offer harmony and balance in your life!
