Aromatherapy massage

Aromatherapy combines therapeutic massage with an individual blend of pure essential oils, excellent for lymphatic system and for the treatment and prevention of disease. Aromatherapy stimulates mind - body healing. Essential oils trigger the limbic system of the brain initiating the parasympathetic response or the relaxation response. The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for slowing the heart rate among other roles. Essential Oils are the by-products of plant metabolism that are generated and stored by the plant in special cells. Most essential oils are extracted by steam distillation or by cold pressing. Essential Oils, when diluted can be applied directly on the skin or used as an inhalation. They enter the blood stream or respiratory system to increase immunity and attack bacterial, viral and fugal infections. Aroma massage is the use of a single or essence blend of essential oils massaged into the skin and the appropriate muscle group to treat a particular condition. Call us today for a consultation.

Raindrop therapy

Raindrop massage therapy uses the antimicrobial properties of essential oils combined with unique massage techniques to gently bring the body back into electrical and structural alignment. Science has discovered that viruses can lie dormant in the nerve tissue of the spine such as the virus responsible for causing chicken pox. When applied to the body, the oils are absorbed through the skin and make their way into the bloodstream where they can fight bacteria and viruses effectively. Since this technique is a detoxifying treatment, it is important that one rests and drinks plenty of water at the conclusion of the Raindrop session. During the raindrop technique, the oils are introduced to the feet first, then the spine using the vita flex technique. Vita flex means “vitality through the reflexes.”

The technique involves a rolling and releasing motion of the fingertips to massage the reflex points on the feet and on the spine. An electrical charge is released in response which sends a signal along the neural pathways until it meets a block from toxin or damage. The process uses a total of eight essential oils and two blends. A hot compress application is placed on the body, which allows the oils to further penetrate into the deeper layers of the dermis. The heat compress is left on the body from 10-20 minutes. The average Raindrop Treatment takes about 90 minutes. Call us today for a consultation.
