Owner of Silver Springs Massage
Caragh Brown has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1997. She is also a
qualified Herbalist. Caragh realized through her many years of massaging clients
that there is a more wholistic aspect to people’s wellbeing. As her mother is a
nurse and her
father a plant researcher, Caragh fell naturally into the role of
becoming a clinical herbalist. She recommends nutritional and
herbal supplements
to help her clients feel healthy inside and out.

Jennifer Bickell, RMT | NHPC
Jen’s warm and sweet disposition is especially suited for many lines of therapy. She loves
infant, youth, and sports-related massage, and relieving you of your daily stress. In
recognition of the variety of demanding athletic programs, work-related
stressful environments
and general daily activities, Jen strives to help people
integrate balance in their everyday lives
via the wholistic aspect of massage. Jen graduated from Mount Royal College in 2005.

Lana Blackburn, RMT | NHPC
Lana graduated in 2003 from Mount Royal Massage 1,100 hour program with
honours.
She has been working out of Silver Springs Massage since the summer of
2005. You can
expect to receive a very thorough and expert massage from Lana. Her expertise embraces
many aspects of sports injury and rehabilitation, both
professional and recreational.
She also deals well with motor vehicle accident
and whiplash assessment and protocol.
Lana enjoys staying active and is a high
energy asset to the clinic.

Andrea Engi, BA, RMT | MTAA | NHPC
Andrea graduated in Spring 2009 from the 2200hr program at MH Vicars
School of Massage
Therapy and is an active member of the Massage Therapists
Association of Alberta. Her
experience in human kinetics is strongly
rooted in the many years she spent training and
racing as a high performance
athlete, swimming at the Canadian National level. With this
background, Andrea
naturally maintains a keen interest in sports related massage, currently
working
with lifestyle athletes as well as with some of our Nation’s top athletes
through the
Canadian Sport Centre. Andrea’s interests, however, are not
limited to sports massage.
As an new mom, she loves working with
moms-to-be and new moms, helping to maximize
their health. She has an
extensive background in TMJ therapy and enjoys working with
clients in chronic
pain and those coping with chronic illness. Expect to enjoy her
professional
approach to clinical treatment.

Lucio Filippetto, RMT | NHPC
Whether the massage be relaxing or therapeutic, Lucio uses a combination of
techniques to
release muscle tension so that stress levels and muscle discomfort
are reduced. His gentle,
calming nature and sense of humour work well to
put clients at ease. Lucio graduated from
the Mount Royal College Massage Therapy
1,100 hour program in 2005. Lucio is a member
in good standing of the Natural Health
Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).

Mindy Hamonic, RMT | NHPC
Mindy is a conscientious therapist with a wide range of knowledge and interests. She
graduated
from Western College of Remedial Therapy in 2005.

Janette Hansen, BA (Psychology) | PTC | NHPC
QantumTouch® Practitioner, Colour/Sound® Therapist,
Certified BodyTalk™ Practitioner, Reiki Master
Janette's practice involves a combined multi-modality
approach to maximize therapeutic results.
She worked for 20 years as a counsellor, group facilitator and speaker for a
non-profit society.
She also ran support groups largely based on Brain Gym and
meridian principles. Later, Janette
carried out a pilot project using Reiki and BodyTalk™ Access for individuals with neurological
conditions. Positive results
lead Janette to pursue a career in energy medicine.

Ali has been working in the field of massage therapy for 15 years. She uses a combination of
pressure and myofascial techniques to release

re-education is often a key
point of treatment. Ali graduated from the 2,500 hour program
at West Coast College of MT in British
Columbia.

Reiki Master-Teacher
Karen addresses the Physical, Mental-Emotional and Spiritual needs of her
clients. Since 1995
she has been a Reiki Master-Teacher and a Massage Therapist since 2004. She has
studied
and used aromatherapy for over ten years and is currently creating unique blends for
clients at
Silver Springs Massage with her company Awakened Scents.
